Our Purpose
We are here to discover God together.
We do this through worshipping together,
being God’s family together,
learning to follow Jesus together,
serving together,
and being equipped together to be part of God’s mission in the world
in the power of the Holy Spirit so that people can discover the love of God for themselves.

Our Vision
By God's grace we are becoming worshippers who put Christ first in every area of life. When we meet together, our worship is marked by form and freedom, joy and awe. It connects strongly with everyday life and need, and is filled with hope. Our music is varied and vibrant, and we make creative use of the arts and new technologies. We have fun together - and most important of all, people say that God is here.
By God's grace we are becoming a people of prayer who seek the Giver above his gifts. We commit ourselves to regular prayer and fasting.
By God's grace we are becoming a family where God's love is expressed. We are a mixture of ages, classes, ethnic backgrounds and cultures. People who are sick, needy or marginalised are loved, accepted and heard. We give our time and money sacrificially and joyfully. Every member of the church is cared for, prayed for and loved.
By God's grace we are becoming neighbours who love and serve the communities where we live, work, worship and socialise. We are becoming a church at the hub of community, where people find acceptance and help to manage their finances, relationships and lifestyles. We believe in the power of God to transform peoples lives. We equip people to share their faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ naturally and joyfully. We seek to be bold, innovative and relevant in the way we share our faith - growing in numbers and seeking to plant new expressions of church.
By God's grace we are becoming world-wide Christians. We seek to have links and partnerships with churches both at home and around the world, and with whom we share gifts and resources. We encourage our members to take opportunities for short term mission.
By God's grace we are becoming disciples who follow Christ wherever he leads, rooted in Scripture and reliant on the Holy Spirit's power. At the heart of our church are small groups where we worship, pray, apply the Bible to daily life and share God's love. These groups are founded on loving relationships in which we hold each other accountable for our spiritual formation.
By God's grace we are becoming a team where everyone is encouraged to offer and develop their God given talents and abilities. All are supported, empowered and enabled to achieve their potential in Christ. As each person does their own special work they help us all, so that the whole church is healthy, growing and full of love.
Dear Lord may we never forget the triumph of your grace in us, so that it is the prime quality of our lives and our church. By your grace, may our vision become clearer, our commitment unswerving, our faith unmoving, our hope unwavering and our love unending. We pray that we might be willing to do whatever it takes, now and into the future, to reach people for Christ and grow together, into the fullness of life that is our inheritance in Christ.
Will You join us on the journey to who we are becoming?
